The IWF Coach Education program is offering IWF Level 1 and Level 2 certifications for the Nordic Federation through the IWF Development Funds. We have received the opportunity to be the first IWF Level 2 course in the world! IWF Coaching and Research Committee Deputy Chair Karoliina Lundahl will be holding two courses during this year.

Proposed program:
Place: Upplands Väsby, Sweden
Time: Saturday 12.00- Sunday 16.00 (course length 2x 8h per course)
Suggested dates:
– IWF Level 1 Aug. 10-11
– IWF Level 2 Nov. 9-10

Costs:
– Course cost of 500USD per course is covered by IWF Development Fund
– Travel, food and hotel (need of 1 night) to be covered by National Federation

Prerequisite for Coaches:
– Course language: material in English (Coach Developer speaks English, Finnish and Swedish)
– Minimum National Level 1 coaching course
– Emphasis on Female and Youth/Jr Coaches
– Coaches must take part in both courses
– If a nation is interested in sending more than 2 coaches, the costs are covered by the National Federation
