The host country Norway invites you to take part in the Nordic Weightlifting Senior Online Championships 2020. The competition will be run by the Zoom digital video system.
COMPETITION RULES
Competition will be held according to the rules of the Nordic Weightlifting Federation and the International Weightlifting Federation.
PRELIMINARY CHAMPIONSHIPS SCHEDULE
Wednesday, Nov. 25th
19:00-20:30: Technical Congress of the Nordic Weightlifting (online meeting).
Thursday 26th or Friday, Nov. 27th
Travel of delegations to a city in one’s country. The MFs will send information directly to the team members and inform the Organizer of the city and person who is in charge of the Online system set-up.
Friday, Nov. 27th
17:00-19:00
Run-through of the competition system. Each MF must have their competition set-up and online cameras for broadcasting ready for testing. Some athletes will lift.
Saturday, Nov. 28th
08:00-9:00 Weigh-in at respective competition places
10:00 Day 1 of Competition
Sunday, Nov 29th
08:00-9:00 Weigh-in at respective competition places
10:00 Day 2 of Competition
The host country reserves the right to reorganize the competition schedule according to the number of entries.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Each Delegation is responsible for accommodating their own team.

During the Championships Eleiko barbells are recommended to be used.
FINAL ENTRIES
Must be returned to the Host Country arne.grostad@vektlofting.no before Saturday November 7, 2020.
FEES
No entry fee.
The Nordic Weightlifting Federation will apply for IWF Development Funds to cover the cost of the host Online Team in Norway. However if the funds are not approved by the IWF, then the costs of the travel and accommodation of the Online Team (max 6 persons) will covered by NTF and MFs.
ANTI-DOPING
All Federations must inform their respective National Anti-Doping Organizations about the competition but they are not compelled to invite the NADO to perform testing. Athletes who break national or Nordic records must be registered in Adams, or they must be tested within 24 hours of the lifting, in order for the record to be official.
INSURANCE
All Federations must undertake full moral and financial responsibility for their respective delegations regarding health and in case of accidents and damages.
AWARDS
Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded for the first, second and third places respectively in the total after the competition via postal service.
The best male and the best female will receive a special award.
The best team (men and women) will receive a team award.
The team awards will exchanged latest at the next in-person Championships.
