INVITATION RUOTSIOTTELU/FINNKAMPEN WEIGHTLIFTING COMPETITION

Painonnoston Ruotsi-Suomi maaottelu käydään Ratinan Kauppakeskuksessa Tampereella.
Nostajat saavat henkilökohtaisen kutsun kilpailuun maajoukkuevalmentajien puolesta.
Kilpailu alkaa klo 14.00. Mahdollinen televisiointi saattaa muuttaa aikataulua.
Kilpailu käydään normaali IWF:n säännöin poikkeuksena pistelasku ja kilpailuluokat, joista jää pois miesten 56kg ja naisten raskain sarja on +90kg. Jokaisessa sarjassa kilpailee yksi nostaja tempauksen, työnnön ja yhteistuloksen pisteistä. Sarja voi siis päättyä pistejakoon 1-2 tai 0-3.
Tampereen Pyrintö järjestää kilpailut ja nostajat saavat liput myös illan Suomi-Ruotsi yleisurheilumaaotteluun.
Banketti järjestetään heti kilpailun jälkeen arviolta 17.30-19.00

Dear weightlifting friends,
We are proud to welcome you to Tampere for the Finland- Sweden weightlifting competition at Saturday the 1st of September 2018. The event will be also a part of the traditional Ruotsiottelu/Finnkampen, which is a major sports event organized this year by Tampereen Pyrintö at Ratina Stadium, Tampere.
The planned weightlifting venue will be Ratina shoppingmall at Vuolteenkatu 1, Tampere (www.ratina.fi). It is situated right next to the Ratina stadium. Please note, that the venue is not yet confirmed. In case of alteration, the competition will be held in another facility as close to the stadium as possible.
The weigh-in is at 12:00 – 13:00 and the presentation of the athletes is at 14:00. Please note that the timetable is preliminary and is subject to changes, if required by the television. At this stage the possible telecasting is not yet been confirmed.
There will be one participant from each country in each man and women weight-category except for men’s lightest category (presently under 56 kg) and women’s heaviest category (presently + 90 kg), which means that the women’s heaviest category would be + 75 kg. Please note that the weight-categories will be reformed by IWF before the competition and that the new weight-categories will probably be applied in this competition.
From each weight-category one point for snatch, clean and jerk and total will be awarded for the better result. This means that each category can finish in advantage of either country by points 1-2 or 0-3
The organizing club Tampereen Pyrintö will assist the teams in finding best and affordable accommodation and transportation from Helsinki, Pirkkala or Turku, if needed. The costs will be allocated to the teams. There are no supplementary costs for the teams regarding to the competition except for the transportation and accommodation.
The teams are invited to participate to a banquet, which is hosted by Tampereen Pyrintö. The banquet will take place immediately after the competition at approximately 17:30 (- 19:00). The team leaders are requested to inform the number of participants to the banquet at latest 10th August 2018 to jukka.o.joronen (at) gmail.com.
The teams will be supplied with the tickets to the Ratina Stadium, where Finland-Sweden athletics competition will take place at Friday and Saturday starting at 18:00 (www.ruotsiottelu.fi).
The Finland-Sweden competitions 2018 will be over Saturday the 1st September at 22:00.
