Official Invitation
The NORWEGIAN WEIGHTLIFTING FEDERATION hereby invites all weightlifters to the Nordic Championships for youth and junior in Stavern, a small town close to city of Larvik, in Norway between 18 – 20 December 2020. The competitions will take place in Stavernhallen, a Sportshall with the adress of Helgeroaveien 17, 3290 Stavern. According to following conditions:
The invitation must be viewed in terms of the provisions of the Covid 19 pandemic in the Nordic countries at any given time.

20.00 Technical Congress at Justissektorens Kurs og Øvingssente(JKØ), Fredriksvern Verft 57, 3290 Stavern
18.30 – 20.30 Dinner served
Saturday 19th December
Competition Under 17 Girls 40kg – +81kg
Juniors Women 45kg – +87kg
Under 17 Boys 49kg – +102kg
Evening: Banquet at JKØ at 20.00.
Sunday 20th December
Competition: Men 55 – +109 kg

Presentation of the lifters in the next group followed by a medal ceremony.

20,00 Banquet at JKØ.

- Entries
Preliminary entries: 06 th of November.
Final Entries: 27 th of November.
The minimum age for Youth is the year when the lifter is 13 years old, according to
the IWF rules.

Will be at Justissektorens Kurs og Øvingssenter(JKØ), Fredriksvern Verft 57, 3290 Stavern
- Competition equipment
Eleiko competition equipment will be used.
- Transportation
The easiest way for traveling nations is to rent a car at airports either Gardermoen Oslo ( 2,5 h from Stavern) or Torp in Sandefjord (less than 1 hour from Stavern)
- Financial conditions
Two nights in:
Single room EURO 285/person total week stay

- Awards
| Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded for the first, second and third place in total.
The best youth and junior male and the best youth and junior female lifter will receive a special award. The best team for men and women will receive a team award. Don’t forget to bring the team awards with you!
